Made from a plastic triple layer sandwich construction the canoe is more durable, stiffer, stronger and lighter than simpler single layer plastic constructions. Surge’s Yukon (standard version) canoe- also available, differs from the sport model mainly in that it lacks the addition of the metal stringer and dual thwarts which combine to give the sport model extra stiffness and strength.
