Cipla MTP Kit Combipack of Mifepristone and Misoprostol Tablets

MTP KIT is a combination of Mifepristone and Misoprostol that belongs to the group of medicines Anti-progestational steroids and Synthetic prostaglandin. It is used for the medical termination of the pregnancy no later than 63 days after the first day of your last menstrual period. Before taking MTP KIT, inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, respiratory problems, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol levels, suffer from an illness that may affect the clotting of your blood, anaemia or malnourished. MTP KIT is contraindicated if your pregnancy has not been confirmed, if the first day of your last period was more than 63 days ago, or if your doctor suspects an ectopic pregnancy, have hereditary porphyria, suffer from chronic adrenal failure. Failure of pregnancy termination (continuing pregnancy) after taking MTP KIT after the first medicine (mifepristone) leads to increased risk of birth defects like facial paralysis, head, and limb malformations.
